SANTA'S COMING TO PROSPECT

Our celebrations for "Santa's Coming To Prospect" returns once again this December 2022!

So whether you have been naughty or nice, come down to Prospect Road and say hello to Santa and his Elves!

A HUGE 2 days of Christmas festivities including:

Santa's spectacular arrival at CIBO'S Christmas Cave at 8.45am (Saturday & Sunday)
Pop up Christmas Markets lining Vine St Plaza
Christmas activities for the kids
Bubble Fun Galore
Local food
Famous BBQ by Lions Club Blair Athol
Local wine, beer and gin
Face painter from 9-2
Live acoustic music from Mark Fox and Bill Meegan
Christmas Cave fairy light show (Saturday night)

Cost:

Christmas Cave kids activities - $5 per child

Includes Christmas kids bauble decorating, or Mini Christmas Tree decorating. A bubble wand and a sweet treat from the Elves.

A vibrant day in Prospect celebrating Christmas cheer and joy to our local and surrounding community.

SANTA' S COMING TO PROSPECT SHEDULE

7.50am - Santa arrives from the Nth Pole to Powerhouse Gym
8.00am - Santa is escorted in a vintage car, escorted by MP Lucy Hood & 20 local motorcycles along Churchill Rd, left on to Torrens Road, along Fitzroy Tce, left on to Archer Street and stopping briefly at CIBO North Adelaide to meet and greet the community.
8.20am - Santa heads to Schinella's Market to meet and greet the community.
8.40am - Santa heads to CIBO's Christmas Cave hosted in Vine Street Plaza
8.45am - Santa arrives at Vine Street Plaza to celebrate Christmas in the heart of Prospect.

CHRISTMAS CAVE KIDS ACTIVITIES & HOW TO JOIN

Cost per child = $5

Each child can choose to either decorate their own Christmas bauble or their own colourful tissue paper Christmas Tree. Children participating will also receive a free bubble wand and a lolly bag from the Elves, and the opportunity to say hello to Santa and have a selfie.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN PROSPECT

Christmas Market stalls kick off at 8am, proudly supporting local SA designers, Artisans and small businesses showcasing an extensive range of handcrafted products, art and homewares perfect find for that special Christmas gift for your loved ones.

Support our local Lions Club from Blair Athol who will be firing up their famous BBQ all day long, CIBO Prospect will be open early til late for caffeine fix and Tach Stroopwaffle will be there serving up a sweet cold treat on a warm summer day. Enjoy a charcuterie board from CIBO's & relax in their outdoor area with a icy gin, beer or a bubbly champagne

Two local acoustic musicians Bill Meegan and Mark Fox music will be serenading the crowd with acoustic tunes, setting the scene for the bustling Christmas Market and celebrations.
