Dear Prospect Residents,
We are delighted to invite you to join us at Prospect Memorial Gardens for the Christmas in Prospect Fair on Saturday, 6 December, from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
This much-loved, community-driven event is proudly supported by the City of Prospect and our local sponsors, and continues to be Stephanie’s (Powerhouse Gym) most generous, voluntary, contribution to my community. We thank each and every helping hand from our group of volunteers, locals & friends who generously give their time and support to make this community celebration possible.
It is a free entry event, with your doggies welcomed, held throughout Prospect Memorial Gardens and Menzies Crescent, promising to be a day filled with free community activities, like mini golf, bouncy castles, glitter freckles, soft play, kid Christmas crafts, a lolly hunt and so much more!
Thank you to the support of our local sponsors, we have included live music from two SA bands - the Incredibles Band and the Brazil Nuts Orchestra, performance by our community, Touch a Truck area with SA Police and Metropolitan Fire Service, Hidden Disabilities Sensory area, delicious food stalls, festive Market square featuring Brand South Australian makers, creators, small businesses and community, stunning Car Show n Shine, the chance to win a lovely Christmas Hamper with the Prospect Lions Club, lighting of a 12ft Christmas tree and a spectacular arrival from Santa with Lucy Hood MP & charity motorcycles at 11am sharp. Prospect Oval will also be open to watch the Prospect Cricket club games all day with free entry throughout the day too.
For those who find crowds or noise a little overwhelming and would still love a quiet hello to Santa, we strive to be an inclusive event for our community. Please reach out via our email and we will do our best to arrange a calm, comfortable moment for you to see Santa.

We are anticipating a large number of attendees for this event steadily throughout the day, with some increased noise from amplified music and we have implemented a traffic management plan with temporary changes around the event area on the day with temporary road closure in Menzies Crescent, temporary parking control, speed reduction, availability for more accessible parking which ensures the safety and smooth flow for all involved.
