Step into the festive spirit and support our local Lions Club by grabbing a raffle ticket for our Christmas Hamper Raffle which they will give away this Saturday! A gorgeous hamper is packed to the brim with Christmas favourites, local goodies, & festive treats! For just $2 a ticket or 3 for $5, you’ll be helping our Lions continue their incredible work in the community, funding support programs, assisting families in need, and keeping important local services running. MEET THE POWERHOUSE CHRISTMAS ELVES
Hi, I'm Stephanie, I'm local & small business owner in Prospect and I voluntary give my time to bring the community together through events for the last 10+ years. The Christmas season is one of my favorite time of the year & it's been an honor to be given the opportunity to give my time to bring a vibrant Christmas community event for my locals to enjoy since 2018. I am humbled to receive ongoing support from the City of Prospect each year, as well as support from so many Traders & businesses to move this wonderful heart warming event forward. I can't thank you enough! To my community, friends and hard working volunteers - THANK YOU for believing in my mission your kind and positive comments, none of this would have been possible without the support and encouragement from you!
For those who know me personally, being an adoptee, then estranged from my adoptive parents from a young age, I have a found a relentless amount of energy to continue to work on my mission to reach out to those in need during in the festive season, connect with more locals, more families and to show kindness those who are silently doing it tough financially or emotionally through a season that can be one of the joyous for some, but can also be one of the most difficult times for many. I can relate and empathise with those who struggle in this season, and events like this bring wonderful moments to people like us to keep going. It is never to early to start decorating, bringing in more light to the world, seizing a moment to be kind, create joy and bring cheer for others.

The spirit of Christmas lives in giving! And what better way to gift your time to this heart warming community event. We are open to volunteers to join our Powerhouse Christmas committee, helping us creative a joyful, inclusive Christmas Fair! If you love Christmas just as much as us, can lend a hand setting up/packing down, putting up posters, flyer dropping, the nest Christmas decorator ever or would just love being part of our volunteer Team of Elves to move this heart warming event foward - we would LOVE to hear from you!
